hi, question to all: anyone with working A4000 and CVision do you have 'nobats' in your bootstrap line? I see the memory has BAT mappings but the APUS config doesnt pick up BATS eg > Memory BAT mapping: BAT2=64Mb, BAT3=32Mb, residual: 31Mb > Total memory = 127MB; using 256kB for hash table (at c02c0000) > ...<stuff removed>... > APUS: BATs=0, BUS=67MHz, RAM=60ns, PCI bridge=1 ^^^^^^ Willy: Please can you remove the Int10 stuff from your XF86config(-4?) file (in /etc/X11/ ) ie if you have load Int10 in your Modules section at the top, remove it. and place Option "NoInt10" into your Device line it looks clear that the CVision driver is dying because of this. ALSO, please do NOT touch or play with PermediaII settings under the framebuffer extra options - they are not for us APUS people...they are for x86 PC folks iirc - and really should be non-configurable for APUS people. will triple check this alan |
