the X config files in the contrib drawer of the linux-apus.sf.net
site should help you!

once you are using glint, you ARE using the 2D accelerated X..and no 
longer the pm2fb frambuffer mode.  you can instantly tell by things such 
as shutting down GNOME desktop...no slow colour changes
