System starts finds my NE2000 card (works perfectly with Genesis 1.06 and latest cnet.device), and than illegal address access occurs and kernel panics. I did not try to remove my card, i performed my tests at evening and was too tired to disassemble my machine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2002-02-16 00:09 Message: Logged In: NO I never got the chance to test as I had to move the harddrive to another computer, so I have given up APUS and NetBSD PPC for a while. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alan buxey (alanbuxey) Date: 2002-02-12 16:06 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=34303 Does this problem still occur in recent 2.4.x release? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Alan buxey (alanbuxey) Date: 2001-05-17 19:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=34303 do you get the same result when you use 2.4.4 (use CVS to upgrade your sources) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2001-03-30 15:47 Message: Logged In: NO My output from dmesg >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Total memory = 63MB; using 0kB for hash table (at 00000000) Linux version 2.4.2 (michdaen@pismo) (gcc version 2.95.3 20010219 (prerelease)) #66 Thu Mar 15 18:29:35 CET 2001 Amiga hardware found: [A1200] VIDEO BLITTER AUDIO FLOPPY A1200_IDE KEYBOARD MOUSE SERIAL PARALLEL A2000_CLK CHIP_RAM PAULA LISA ALICE_PAL PCMCIA ZORRO On node 0 totalpages: 16256 zone(0): 16256 pages. zone(1): 0 pages. zone(2): 0 pages. I have to remove my PCMCIA ethernet to be able to boot up. Both 2.2.10 and 2.4.1 crashes for me when trying to boot from them after install. So the only time I can use my ethernet card is when I'm install LinuxPPC with 2.2.10 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Michel Daenzer (mdaenzer) Date: 2001-02-01 15:47 Message: Please include the dmesg and .config with this bug. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=105907&aid=230693&group_id=5907 |
