On m68k it's also in arch/m68k/config.in, since the m68k config doesn't include drivers/char/Config.in (yet) due to lots of irrelevant ISA drivers. But you can safely remove it from arch/ppc/config.in. Gr{oetje, eeting}s, Geert -- Geert Uytterhoeven -- There's lots of Linux beyond ia32 -- ge...@li... Biggest visible difference is a new /proc/interrupts format, which is now the same as for other ppc machines. Otherwise there is now finally that annoying "Trying to enable auto-vector" print gone. Hello, By configure I assume you mean how to make it talk to the world as opposed to configure a kernel to support these devices ? I don't know anything about how Suse is set up but look at the following files (if they exist) for hints : /etc/rc.d/init.d/network /etc/sysconfig/network /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts Commands of interest to you might be 'ifconfig' and 'dhcpcd'. Does sound work at all, how are you trying to use it ? Ken. |

Could you make the changes I did in a3000_gettod also in a2000_gettod? That's my changes: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/linux-apus/2.3/arch/ppc/amiga/config.c.diff?r1=1.13&r2=1.14 If it works, you could even commit them. :) bye, Roman |

hi, I took a fresh CVS of the 2.4 tree of the APUS project (hoping that my self compiles failed because of some weirdness) I used the plain config (ie the same as the 2.4.17 on the APUS site) bootstrap loads, the machine freezes (as it does) but kernel console never appears.... heres the dmesg recovery output Searching for SAVEKMSG magic...
