When I start Linux, I get this message:

I have installed the latest boothacks, kernel, and
other stuff. All the RPM's from LinuxPPC.org from
the "stable" directory.

Does this still happen if you move
/lib/modules/2.4.2/kernel/drivers/char/rtc.o
out of the way? If yes, there's probably a bug in the RTC
(real time clock) code.

which kernel image are you using? What is your bootstrap
line?
can you send the results of 'dmesg' from under AmigaOS after
adding '-d debug=mem' to your bootstrap line?
