When I start Linux, I get this message:

Kernel Panic: kernel access of bad area: pc c00c9274
lr c00c9268 address 70 tsk hwclock/18

My system: A1200 68k 040/PPC 603e, 64Mb RAM

I have installed the latest boothacks, kernel, and
other stuff. All the RPM's from LinuxPPC.org from
the "stable" directory.

Does this still happen if you move

    /lib/modules/2.4.2/kernel/drivers/char/rtc.o

out of the way? If yes, there's probably a bug in the RTC
    (real time clock) code.

which kernel image are you using? What is your bootstrap
    line?
can you send the results of 'dmesg' from under AmigaOS after
adding '-d debug=mem' to your bootstrap line?
