[Linux-abi-devel] linux abi 2.4.17 patching problem

I tried to patch the latest linux-abi onto 2.4.17
kernel, 
this fails to patch on the modules file and other
files
Gave up for the moment.
Is there a problem with this patch (.gz patch again)
or is this just me?
