Hello friends,
I'm migrating from SCO 5.0.7 to debian linux and use a programming binary utilities (Sculptor 4GL) that I no meeting place for linux.
I have installed "Linux debian 2.6.32-5-686"
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Debian
Description: Debian GNU / Linux 6.0.4 (squeeze)
Release: 6.0.4
Codename: squeeze
and I have put the
'linux-abi'
to run a powerful SCO binaries,
compile all well with
gcc version 4.1.3 20080704 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.2-29)
and linux-headers-2.6.32-5-686
……………………………
manually run. / abi_ldr and work good binaries of SCULPTOR 4GL of SCO 5.0.7.
but I get errors when a program makes an internal call exec.
example exec "date >date.txt" or exec " uname -a > nodename.txt "
I see all the problems are specific to debian files, date, time, uname, …….
Error ---> x286emul:! segv and and terminal perform hangs forcing a logout.
Can anyone help me?

Hi
I know, it's a bit late …
but try the "reset personality before exec()" - Patch (Tracker -> Patches)
