A new Linumes Theme has been released featuring music by St. Adam. This mellow theme will help you get your puzzle-on.

The Linumes project has release version 0.55. Linumes 0.55 features audio levels and some touch-ups request by users.

Linumes Themes have been updated.

A new theme, Bubblegum,has been added. Bubblegum features an excellent Creative Commons licensed tune by Lavinia Jones called 'Colour Creativity', in addition to some bright new graphics.

The theme feature DJ Spooky's music One Laptop has been updated for support in the newest Linumes release (Linumes 0.4). Additionally, graphics have been resized in order to allow better compatibility with the Windows x86 build.... read more

Linumes now has an introductory mode selection screen. Additionally, Linumes now gives credit where credit is due by displaying the Artist and Title name for the background music used in each theme. A screen saver mode is now selectable for when one just wants to "chill." Finally, more eye candy has been added to the game board

Stay tuned to the Linumes Project this weekend (5/17/2008) for some big updates to the Linumes engine as well as a new Theme. Without spoiling too much, this is going to be big!

Linumes 0.3 has been released. Among the new features in this release are a 60-second mode that should be a favorite among old-school Lumines fans. Additionally, high scores are now kept between games. Multiple fonts are now supported and you will see this on the diplay of the high score tables. Finally, some small corrections to the timing and application of themes during game play have incresed the overall stability of the Linumes.

A new Linumes release is available. This release coincides with the release of the Linumes Project's first external theme pack (OLPC, ie. One Laptop). Version 0.2a addresses some issues from v 0.2 while adding bonus scoring and additional animations for block detection, scanning and deletion. Check it out in at the Linumes project.

The Linumes project has now released its first external theme: One Laptop. This theme uses Creative Commons Licensed-Music by DJ Spooky created for OLPC. Check it out in the Linumes project's linumes-theme releases.

Release 0.2 of Linumes was created this past week.
This release includes a windows x86 build that I was able to create by using dev-C++ under Wine in Linux.

I already have found a glaring error in the block deletion algorithms. Check back here Sunday evening to get Release 0.2a. I anticipate that the 0.2a release will include a Linux x86 build as well as Windows and Linux X86_64 builds. So, if you're waiting for a vanilla build because you don't want to mess with the source code then Sunday should be big for you. And it will be just in time for the work week. You'll have something new to plunk at whilst your hiding in your cubicle.
