Thanks for contribution! I'll give it a try and even consider replacing the old Slackware boot cd, as I suppose it's better in terms of hardware detection. BTW doing our very own boot cd should be a task to consider in the future. The truth is that I was quite in a hurry when creating the current Lintrack boot cd and I had no time to do this as it should be done.
