okay so the mkdir() problelm has more or less been sorted out now do you have any ideas as to how to get the the bottom of the following errors on uploading images?
* When uploading a file I get the following error: "Undefined index: error
Undefined index: error
FEHLER: Kann Datei nicht in das Verzeichnis /var/www/linpha/albums/test verschieben
Undefined index: error
FEHLER: Kann Datei nicht in das Verzeichnis /var/www/linpha/albums/test verschieben
Undefined index: error
FEHLER: Kann Datei nicht in das Verzeichnis /var/www/linpha/albums/test verschieben" but the file is uploaded okay.
Any ideas as to where this is comming from any why its in german?

P.S. What version of PHP are you coding to?

this messages are produced by the internal error handler of the filemanager. As the were already translated to german german users see those messages in german :-)
I will have a look on it if I have some time...
btw. I'm using always the latest PHP version for coding but also have multiple OS with older PHP releases running for testing purpose.

I'm having exactly the same problem on debian stable with linpha 0.93.
Any idea what might be causing it, the files seem to upload ok?
