Have the same problem, it works after I restart apache but by the 3rd or 4th image it stop working. Its like the machine gets overloaded. I have apache running on windows 2003, 266MHz 256RAM. Is it maybe the machine is to old?

I know this problem. To resolve it you can:
First solution:
1 - In the MySQL table linpha_config change the value of the "option _name=use_convert" from 1 to 0 (to use GDLib instead of imagemagick),
2 - Use the PHP version 2.3.9 with GD 2.0.28 whitch is more stable
Second solution:
Try putting the "convert.exe" from imagemagick on a root directory whitch is defined in the path because the call string of convert is limited to 2048 characters.
And use the PHP version 2.3.9 with GD 2.0.28 because is more stable
Good Luck
