I get the same problem... Please post here if somebody finds a solution! I have tried to enable/disable the option "create thumbnails for movies without result. I have a fresh install of Linpha 1 and a fresh install of xampp running on W2003.

I did a new installation and this time I included Imagemagick. Now there are no problems!
