#6 Link History Hack causes Fatal reset err

This is similar to ID216044. This is more FYI as I
havn't yet run linkmaster nor 'published' anything but
just tried to activate the hack.

I installed all of the .prc files (linkmaster,
linkhistoryhack, proxyfind, proxydb, proxyapp,
proxyaddr) and hotsynced ok. Before running progect I
tried to enable to link history hack. (I think I
opened linkmaster but didn't do anything - just went
straight back to the app launcher.
Even with all hacks disabled, when I select the
linkhistory hack in hackmaster and try to use the
application key or calander button to exit I get Fatal
Alert DataMgr.c, Line:8589, Index out of range.
requiring a soft reset.

LinkHistoryhack prefs are unchanged from installation
and show Back Dragfrom-Find; To-Menu; Forward from-
Menu; To-Find; Popuplist From-Menu; To-
Applications. "Track app usage" is checked.

Hackmaster is v1.0
Palm OS v3.5.0
LinkHistoryHack v1.0.4
LinkMaster v1.0.4
App launcher is built in palm.

Will try Z'Catalog but thought you should be aware
this occurs with a brand new install. (20 March 02).

I think I've found the cause of this bug - when you ran
linkmaster, did you switch the Bookmarks dropdown to
History? Doing so when there is nothing in the history
looks like it might cause an error (not immediately, but
later, like you're seeing here). The solution is to delete
the LinkmasterHistory database (either using an app like
Z'Catalog or just deleting all of Linkmaster and
reinstalling), and turn on LinkHistoryHack *before* setting
that dropdown to History.

This'll be fixed in the next release of Linkmaster, whenever
that may be.
