lineakd crash

after compiling lineak on my system (0.3Beta3) and editing the config file, I get a series of error messages when trying to run it.
I'm running Fedora Core 2.
I get a series of these errors where only the serial number varies.
Error message follows:

Same here on a fresh install of Mandrake 10.1Community, lineakd 0.8-1mdk, liblineakd0 0.8-1mdk, lineakd-plugins-xosd 0.8-2mdk .
I use a LTUF keyboard.
Shouldn't we post this as a bug ?

This means that something else is grabbing the keys. Could be khotkeys or KDE's keyboard layout mechanism.
