I really like the flow of pmachine and they way they do things. As for non-css i agree. The 'kiss' method should take affect here. I'll start on a very rough div layout just for the sake of sake and start adding features piece by piece. If we break down each section and have some sort of sub-section for each we could really save alot of desktop space. I'll try to keep it with a flow layout so that its a bit more cross-browser friendly, ie has issues with set widths and such.
