Did you register a new UIN? How many characters does your password have? more than 9 chars? Go to the system-menu -> system-functions -> password/security options and= =20 change your password (locally), only type in the first 9 characters and sav= e=20 it. try to re-logon. if this does not help, go to icq.com website and try logon there, click on= =20 "forgot password", they will send you the new password. please tell me if this solves your problem! if this does help you, then we will soon have a fix for that. jon: if my solution helps him, then i will give you a detailed description = of=20 this bug and how to solve it. i'm pretty sure that i have tracked down this= =20 bug to its roots.
