I know one person with ICQ 2000b with whom I can communicate -- but the majority of users, especially those who have just installed the new version, cannot, except through the server. How was your copy of ICQ 2000b configured? I would think that would be important. And what about my packet dump, too? You don't want to see that? If there's no support for reverse TCP requests, then why do they appear in the logs? And why is it that with some users, they work? I need to get an example of this.
