I reinstalled libvisual without a hitch.
However when I try to install libvisual-bmp with
prefix=/usr/local my computer locks up when it reaches
"Checking glx.hc" or something like that. I have a nvidia 
card, if that matters, I had to comment out certain things
in my xorg conf. file to get it to work right(according to nvidias'
instructions) but it wasn't 'glx' i think it was 'load dri'.
Don't know if this helps explain things.
