How is goom going nowadays ? :)

You've got a point in your issue and I can't think of any sensible solution 
that is an always win
for the user. Ofcourse the libvisual xmms plugin will rock the world, 
especially when the Lv display
library lands.

Hopefully when xmms2 lands, libvisual can be used in their core or something 
like that, so it's
intergrated.
