[Libvisual-users] fc3 packages

Howdy!

Great library - I didn't see any packages for the library/apps on the =20
web site, so I made some for fc3 - they are in my tiny yum repo:

http://mpeters.us/linux/yum.php

I packaged the library, base plugins package, and the xmms-visual =20
plugin.

I'm hoping to get the gstreamer plugin working - gstreamer-plugins =20
0.8.5 wants an older version of the library, but from what I've seen of =20
the xmms plugin - this would be a great addition to totem, which =20
currently doesn't visualize with the gstreamer backend (at least mine =20
doesn't)

Anyway - thanks for the library, it works well :)

If I'm not mistaken someone has updated gstreamer, but because fd.org 
cvs is down, it's well, not in CVS yet..., but when it's back on
you might want to check this out!

Yes they have - I already had the 0.8.5.3 tarball since that was needed =20
for the new version of swfdec (which I think doesn't work as well as =20
the old version, but *sigh* - that's how it goes)

The libvisual plugin did compile just fine with that - and the =20
visualizers all showed up in GStreamer Totem - though GStreamer totem =20
is apparently broken with the ability to use any visualizers (even the =20
ones it comes with aren't working)

So hopefully totem will fix that - your visualizer and plugins rock in =20
xmms.

In that case, bug Ronald Bultjes about that, he is master fixer :)

Thank you, remember most plugins are simply ported over from older 
versions. But a lot of code went into the platform, and we're just
beginning ;)
