If you really are set on S8, look at the opensolaris sources and=20 backport the USB driver framework to S8. Less work than starting from=20 scratch (there is a bunch of stuff though that USB relies on such as the=20 advanced interrupt support) which is not available in s8. What would make a lot more sense is buying the s9 USBA1.0 x86 sources from Sun (send mail to usb...@su...) and backport to s8 which is a=20 matter of a few days if you know solaris well. The s10 libusb binaries=20 can be used on s9. good luck fritS |
