[Libusb-devel] 'usb_set_configuration' problem with two configurations.

Hello,

we have a device which supports two configurations. The second configuration is
not yet know during the enumeration. (only the default config is used). 
At the enumeration only a bootcode is running (with one configuration) and waits
for a firmware download. This firmware supports the bootcode and an additional configuration.

Now we have the problem to switch to the second configuration during runtime.
A 'usb_set_configuration' call returns -22 (EINVAL). 

We suspect that the usbcore driver module doesn't know the second configuration and
therefore returns EINVAL when trying to select the second config.

Is there any solution ?
