[Libusb-devel] Anchor Downloads

Hi all,

I am translating a Windows driver written by someone else to Linux using
libusb.

The windows driver code calls for something called an anchor download.
On research this seems to mean a download to the device that stops all
other IO activity before and during the download.

The Linux Kernel seems to accomplish this using some function calls
related to anchors. Is there any way of achieving this in libusb?
