#606 Crash when one line is on construction layer

No

Whenever a particular vertical line is moved out of the viewport, to left or right, by zoom or scroll, the screen freezes and "never" returns (left overnight - about 12 hours - on first occurrence and it was still non-responsive at that time. ) By removing all other elements in the drawing, I narrowed it down to the particular line. Attached is a zip file with the minimal "broken" dxf (the single vertical line remaining after removing all other layers and drawing entities) and the same file that will not crash on my LibreCAD. The difference is whether the Construction layer's construction characteristic is on or off.

There were many other vertical lines on this layer, none of which caused problems. This one has a different colour than the layer colour, (yellow for the bad line; blue for the layer) and line type (Dash dot tiny for the bad line; continuous for the layer.) Other Dash dot lines were not problematic; no other yellow lines were on that layer.

    Following up with more data - after writing the note, I realised I had not tested changing colour nor line type. Changing both stops crashes as well.

    • Changing Line type to Dash Dot (tiny) with layer colour -> crash;
    • Setting layer Line type to Dash Dot (tiny) causes crash;
    • Changing colour from layer colour makes no difference;
    • Changing Line type to Dash (tiny) causes crash.

    This is a known issue which is already solved in latest code.
    See https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/issues/979

    Should all bug reports be on GitHub? If so, SourceForge should point there. I spent too much time seaching in SourceForge for any similar bug if bugs are now managed in GitHub. (Many thanks, in any case.)
