When zooming to the limit of enlargement in simple drawing the program freezes and must be closed. One or two steps of zooming work fine. Other commands work fine.

Thanks for these detailed information.
Indeed, we are aware of the non solid condtruction line issue. It concerns to horizontal or vertical lines only or both, can't recall at the moment.
We have a pull request for this issue on github, but sadly it dosn't solve it, it's still work in progress.
Is your issue similar to this from ando140? Any non solid construction lines involved?
Maybe you can specify more details or post the file which cause the freeze?
Hi,
I seem to face (some at least very similar/the same) issue: I have stripped my drawing to a single line in a construction layer which still causes librecad to freeze (full CPU usage).
Steps to reproduce:
Environment:
Let me know if you need more details.

But, I have to admit that I cannot reproduce ando140's bug ...
Happen the same on Debian Stretch. In a simple dxf file (created with LibreCAD), if I zoom out and in, it freeze. If I close the program, the process remain active and take 50% of the cpu, I have to kill it.
It's very important for me to delete this bug, because rigth now I can't use the program.
Thankyou
