No

I regularly am editing, creating eg. new blocks in another CAD window. When I return to the main drawing, the new elements do not appear in the Library Browser, unless I exit and re-enter LibreCAD. This is quite a bit of work, particularly when creating a lot of new blocks and wanting to try them out one by one.

Would it be difficult to add either

  • A simple button to re-fill the Library Browser, or
  • More modernly, use the notification system to update the Browser automatically?

Another possibility, though not very elegant, would be to copy/paste blocks between CAD windows.

It's not trivial to implement this feature.

The current way is clearly efficient, because it only process the library folders once.
