I have two blocks and enabled "Snap on Entity", but nothing snaps when I try to move one block in the direction to the other.
But if I "explode" the block I'm not moving (the one I want the other to snap to), the "Snap on Entity" works correctly.
I would consider this a major bug which makes the program currently unusable for me as I need snapping, but also blocks to group several elements together.
Tested with the latest nightly build 2.0.7-457 to be sure this bug was not fixed in the meantime.
A quick fix in https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/commit/ed30ee1d0d4398f3a95490b5f758f96963c6846c
Great, thanks Dongxu Li for your quick fix!
I will test it immediately as soon as the next nightly build is available:
is the nightly build triggered automatically each night or can you trigger that manually?
Thanks again
Andreas
nightly builds are triggered UTC-3:30am each day, if the official git repository has been updated since the previous nightly build.
Looks like we have an issue somehow: there's no update since July 16th, and this is due to service interruption at sourcefogre, please get updates from: http://sourceforge.net/blog/category/sitestatus/
Aside from that, we are ordering a new OSX building server with OSX 10.10 to solve crashes on 10.10.
Hello Dongxu Li,
yes, LordOfBikes posted that already here:
http://librecad.org/cms/home/get-help/forum.html
Maybe you could just upload the built EXE at a temporary location for testing till SourceForge got their servers working again...
Thank you
Andreas
Just tested it (thanks to Armin for the "special build location"):
works perfectly for me, thank you!
