#8 Memory leak in MS Windows version?

When large grids are processed many times - always
removing those grids that are not needed anymore - at
some point a 'memory allocation failed' message is
given. In other words, the same number of equally sized
grids cannnot processe anymore, although it was
possible in the beginning of the session. Could there
be a memory leak? Does removing a grid free the memory
allocated to it completely?

This can come from several places. Should be studied with
valgrid or something similar.
