Time and external demands have delayed things longer than planned, but goal is to have an 0.60 release out within the week. This release will add support for Cygwin and Win32 native builds.
As part of this the pdel library will include a private clone of stdio used on the Windows platforms to provide the custom file stream functionality needed by the various FILE based utilities (ssl_fp, stringbuf, filter, boundary). This library will wrap and interact cleanly with Native FILE * or can be used for other funopen()/fopencookie like functionality. After a bit of a drought of news and activity libpdel and lws have some news. libpdel and lws have a new maintainer and a new home here on SourceForge.
At the request of Archie Cobbs maintainer duties will be taken over by Mark Gooderum. Archie will continue to be available and involved but is also very busy with family and other projects. Mark has worked extensively with libpdel and more recently lws in multiple projects including some of the work previously contributed back by Vernier Networks.
