I was happy to see detached signatures for libpcap
0.7.2 and tcpdump 3.7.2 at www.tcpdump.org. However,
the signature files are empty! Now I'm not so happy.
Administrators of the "libpcap" SourceForge project have superseded this tracker item (formerly artifact 724171, now bug 27) with issue 29 of the "libpcap" GitHub project.

Which signature files?
A wget on
http://www.tcpdump.org/release/libpcap-0.7.2.tar.gz.asc
gets a non-empty file, as does a wget on
http://www.tcpdump.org:80/release/tcpdump-3.7.2.tar.gz.asc
