Just a comment on this. Things that could get improved for the default  
style sheet:
* Better structuring
* More color constant
* More options to switch parts of the style sheet on or off

I would always recommend to use the current options for conditionals  
to keep one default style even for variants like "hike", "bike",...  
All this things a variants in the sense that they share most of the  
style commands, but draw more or less or parts in different style. If  
we switch to multiple files, things will start to get unmanageable.  
Style files will be divert.
