#1 get 3rd party touch panel to talk to my 315-2DP MPI

desired result:
get 3rd party touch panel to talk to my 315-2DP MPI
buss.

this EZ-touch panel supports siemens MPI 3964R
protocol but they fail to mention the 232-MPI adapter
must be 6ES7972-0CA11-0XA0 "HMI" and not my 6ES7972-
0CA23-0XA0 "PC"

I am hopeful this may be a CTS/RTS control issue that
can be handled with dave tools and my existing
adapter.

I have no experience with C+ or UNIX but am eager to
learn.

I did get borland 5.5 (we run xp 2002 sp2)

Any assistance would be appreciated!
