I'm trying to run a MPI adapter under linux with the libnodave library (trying the given test program 'test'). The effect that occurs is that the function daveInitAdapter returnes 4. The function reads out some (indentification-?)bytes from the adapter (with ReadMPI2 I think) and compares this with a given byte array. The byte array from the MPI adapter seems to be similar to the given one (the initial bytes are the same) and the bcc(?) is the same like calculated...
another effect while running the test program is the timeout occuring sometimes...
Maybe I use a MPI adapter that is too old?
The Hardware I'm using is:
S7-300 CPU 312 IFM
MPI: 6ES7901-2BF00-0AA0
thanks very much for help!
