New device that libmtp 1.1.15 is unable to recognize. This device is manufactured by Nox Medical, located in Iceland. It is used to capture patient signals during sleep.

This is indeed an MTP device. I have already implemented C++ code that works on Windows platform to communicate with the device.
There is no lsusb command on Mac, but I installed a wrapper around profiler command to get similar results. lsusb -v outputs:

I started to have similar issue some time ago in Debian Buster (Sid):
I can't browse my Ubuntu Touch-based smartphone. And had issues woth some older Huawey Android too.
I don't see any "mtp-related" messages in syslog after I connect device:
lsusb -v :
