Found by accident that I couldn't transfer directories from computer to samsung s6 when files end in a space.

    what do you exactly run as commands to do it?

    libmtp itself does not strip off spaces at least.

    Hi! This issue is linked on aksubuntu.com, and indeed it exists: Having images with names like "Img 123 (1).jpg" crashes all file managers. Tested on Ubuntu 18.04.01 with Samsung Galaxy S7. Those file names will be generated when editing on the smartphone.

    The problem is NOT with libmtp I am perfectly able to mount and using the cli access the files.

    I however am not able to do this using Nemo 3.8.6
