Particle Engine

Well, even though I lost the whole thing in a system crash, since I didn't have CVS access, it should be out in a few weeks.

Back in G'Ville once again

I'm back in Gainesville, after a week of spring break. Since the release was unsuccessful in being done before break, I think we're going to polish it up and try to release 2-3 weeks.

Next libGDN Release Projections.

The next release of libGDN is most likely to occur betweent the 6th and the 8th of March. Inother words, we have one month to get our asses in order and code the key parts of the next release.

We hope to get the following features in and done:

1. Request System: Pretty much garunteed, but how much it will be utilized in new components is questionable.

2. C++ Static Reflection System: Also highly likely, but may not be used heavily until later releases.... read more

Documentation Methods change

We've decided that doxygen is a much better way to go for the documentation.....doing it entirely by hand is very inefficient.

Upcoming Library release

We've has a lot of additions and modifications in the last few days. As soon as I get home and make a few revisions to existing code, i'll release a new version. RisingDragon has started a very preliminary declaration of the *basic* graphics subsystem. Since the library is intended to be componentized, it's very general. Take a look yourself in the CVS repository.

Away for a few days

Work continues faster than ever. Take a look at the CVS repository if you don't believe me. I'll be gone for a few days (Wed. Through Sun,) for Thanksgiving. I'll try to write some documentation in that time.

Added Subprojects and Tasks

I've added subprojects for each subsystem of the library - math, graphics, io, etc.
Now, if you wanna develop something or submit something - say you have a timer class - just add a task and say how much you've done, etc, (you might have to tell one of the admins) and go write!
