Hi When I send a raw dv file (about 180M) to camcorder over ieee1394 using the command 'dvconnect -s filname.dv', I first see slightly flickering blue view finder for the first 60-80 frames, and then I get prefect video/audio in the view finder. Changing syt-offset makes no difference on this aspect (though it changes the floating gray boxes on the view finder). I have tried an option as crazy as '--start-frame=-80', but it didn't work. When I use --start-frame option with positive number, again the first 60-80 frames (starting from the start-frame argument) give only minimally flickering blue screen on the view finder, and then I see perfect audio/video. (In short --start-frame option makes no difference.) I have a Slackware linux (v10) Pentium PC (500MHz) with libdv 0.104. I would appreciate any help. (I made a long journey to this point, and I can feel I'm almost there.) Chirok __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - Easier than ever with enhanced search.
