	Well, they are ominous  looking ;)  Up to now I've only seem them
	very infrequently (if at all) so the surprise was twofold: 1) that they
	came out so regularily (8/sec) yet the audio sounds ok and 2) the
	warnings/errors came from a new and improved analog->dv conversion box.
	
	I wonder if it's an unsteady input to the dv conversion unit that 
	might be causing the problem - maybe the VCR is spitting out a shakey
	signal that is causing audio lock problems.

	Since they aren't harming anything I'll shut up now and get on with the
	encoding :)
