I have some samples of different 16:9 modes that were shared here
previously. I can make them available tonight. What do you mean by true
16:9? As far as I know, there is only anamorphic (aka squeeze) and
letterboxed.
Also, for some reason - perhaps based on past casual reading at
digitalmedianet.com - I believe that the 24fps DV is progressive scan with
a 2:3 pulldown applied to make it run at normal rates for compatibility
with existing DV tech. Hopefully, there is some flag in the stream. What
information do you already have about this?
