[libdv-dev] decoding failures on *second* try

Hi,

we're using libdv (by way of gstreamer) to grab data from a JVC GY-DV
300 camera.  I'm seeing a strange problem that I almost can't believe,
but it appears to be like this:

On the first attempt to grab data, everything works.  On subsequent
attempts, I get "audio decoding failure" (and every once on a while
"audio packet decoding failure") *continously*.  No audio can be
recovered at all.

Unplugging the firewire doesn't help, but when attaching a different
make of camera (a Sony) and then re-attaching the JVC, it again works
-- once!

Do you guys have an idea on what could be going wrong here?  I'm at my wits end!
