By resampling, I was intending to resample a > frame's audio from its current sample count to the number of samples > expected by the locked sequence. After reading Adam Wilt's page again, I better understand what you mean now. However, resampling seems to work around some of the other problems mentioned as discovered in the "real life" or as a result of edits. Resampling is actually easier because our tools are so frame oriented, and we would have to make heavy changes to be able to choose from samples across a number of frames. On the other hand, resampling in some cases may not yield the best results. |
