Hmm.  Looks like we may have misread the spec when we did the audio
code.  There is a sentence that reads: 

   "The sample audio capacity shall be capable of 1620 samples per
   frame for the 525/60 system or 1944 samples per frame for the
   625/50 system."

[ 525/60 is NTSC and 625/50 is PAL ].

So you are right, 1920 is too small.
