[libdv-dev] Problems building livdv under RedHat 6.1

Haven't got round to upgrading my RedHat install yet,
but I am running the 2.2.19 kernel with iee1394
support patched in.

My problem is I can't install your RPMS due to wrong
libraries so I tried building from source and the make
dies on encode_x86.S reporting that it contains
illegal x86 instructions.. Which version of gcc do I
need to be running to build this?
