[libdv-dev] Redhat 7 or plain vanilla X config advice ?

Activity seems low on this list recently, and I'll be going soon as well
for Christmas. But I still need help on getting these accelerated
speeds. Here is a clue from when I play the pond.dv using playdv.

[lukas@sto-lknutsson libdv]$ Xlib:  extension "XVideo" missing on

How is encode development getting on ?
