libdthreads is a library that extends POSIX thread capabilities to include read/write locks, often needed for queues, linked lists, hash tables, and trees and nodes in the above entities. Currently, most projects implement this functionality from scratch, leading to lost time debugging and profiling for potential race conditions and deadlocks.
