yep, it's been fixed in CVS since last September, but i just haven't
had time to cut a new release - i'm just days away from it, though
(didn't realize just how much time a newborn takes out of you! ;-)

in the meantime, if you're ok with running a patched version, check out

   http://monkey.org/~dugsong/tmp/dnet-1.10-zack.win32-py2.4.exe

which is a recent build of the dnet win32 module with the eth_open()
fix (Zack Payton was the first one to really bug me for it, which
accounts for the name ;-)
