There is no control on the bit ordering (little/big endian) in IIDC.
Unless your camera has manufacturer-specific controls you won't be able
to change the bit ordering in the camera. (IMHO)

If you find that such change is possible for your camera please let us
know. We can implement that as a vendor-specific function in libdc1394.
But we need the docs from the vendor...
