I have several Marlin F131 cameras and I am definitely seeing a problem when switching between resolutions/packet sizes in Format7 mode. Specifically, if I stop streaming, change the format7 parameters, and restart streaming, I often get at least one corrupted frame. I believe the problem lies in the firmware, although I can't be certain until I investigate a bit further. I am working on simplifying this down to a specific and reproducible test case that I will mail to you and this list once I have it fully characterized. By the way, do you have a list somewhere of the latest firmware versions for each model of AVT camera? It would be helpful if such a list was public because libdc1394 developers could then better assist those users that were having trouble with AVT cameras. Thanks, David |
