arxtools-0.5.0 released

To enhance the ways developers work with arxtools I added pkg-config support. This allows easy checking of the installed version in case one depends on a feature that only got available at a sepcific version.
Also added better support for the --add parameter of arxadd: now you can specify the parent item by path and may omit the relation name in case "child" is used. The path directive allows inlined relation names of course.

arxtools-0.4.8 released

This version enhances arxadd so the newly added item can be inserted into various relations of multiple other items by arxadd. This removes the necessity to reload and rewrite the whole library with another arxmod call.

arxtools-0.4.0 released

This release adds some important features like path resolution and getting information about items and relations. It also improves some other features like the parsing of numeric values on the commandline.
However the most important change is that three tools have been removed. arxdump is replaced by an improved arxget. arxstructure has been integrated into arxmod and arxarchive has been split between the two.
This means, that the tool suite now is nearly minimal and the interface will not be reduced for some time now.

Renaming the library

Currently, the most important work that is to be done during the following days, is to finish the renaming. libarxx was formerly named CSL or libcsl and there is a lot of code and documentation to review and change all occurences of CSL to ARX, Arxx or libarxx respectively. I hope to finish this procedure in a day or two and can make the first libarxx release with the new name then.

The different version of the name:... read more
