It would be much more convenient to have Galago codebase on GitHub or similar service with functionality like forks, pull requests, better issue tracker, etc.
There are no plans now or in the forseeable future to move the Galago codebase away from its current SourceForge location.
However, since you are a known and respected contributor to the codebase, we would be happy to give you developer permissions for access to the code. That way, you could commit changes directly rather than passing them through intermediaries.
Of course you will still be stuck with Mercurial.
